What we are looking for?

You will have the opportunity to:

• Apply your advanced experience in Java (Java 8+/21) to develop high-performance backend services and improve the functionality of graphical interfaces (GUIs), ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience.
• Lead with a focus on security and compliance, ensuring that each solution aligns with internal regulations and external regulatory standards, maintaining the highest levels of reliability and trust.
• Translate complex business needs into elegant and scalable solutions, using modern design principles and good development practices in Java.
• Collaborate closely with a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team of developers, testers, product owners, and business stakeholders, working under agile methodologies like SCRUM and SAFe.
• Contribute actively to the modernization of a critical platform for the company, in an innovative and motivating environment, surrounded by highly qualified professionals.

Requirements

Academic Education and Certifications

• University studies (University or University of Applied Sciences, Master’s).

General Skills

• Problem-solving: Very good.
• Coordination and organization: Good.
• Presentation and moderation techniques: Good.

Technical Skills

• Programming / Application Development: Very good.
• Web Development: Very good.

Specific Knowledge:

• Java: More than 7 years of experience.
• JavaScript: Between 4 and 6 years.
• Python: Between 1 and 3 years.

Languages (oral and written):

• English: Very good.
• Spanish: Very good.

What You Will Bring to the Team

• Solid experience in Java: More than 7 years of practical experience in architecture and development of robust solutions with Java 8+/11 (knowledge in Java 17/21 will be valued), Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Domination of Apache Spark: Demonstrated experience in distributed data processing and large-scale analytics.
• Mastery in Cloud and Data Engineering: Extensive experience in designing and deploying applications on cloud platforms (OpenShift/Azure) using Kubernetes and Docker. Deep knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Spring Data/Hibernate), streaming platforms (Apache Kafka), and optimization of data pipelines for high-performance systems.
• Full-Stack Technical Versatility: Strong capacity in backend development and knowledge of frontend (Angular). Experience in unit and integration testing (JUnit, Jasmine/Karma) and application of good development practices throughout the software lifecycle.
• Knowledge in Capital Markets: Previous experience in managing trading reference data, with an understanding of the specific challenges of financial technology environments.
• Technical Leadership and Agile Delivery: Proven track record of leading development initiatives in agile environments (SCRUM/SAFe), with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering resilient and high-quality systems. Natural ability to mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative team dynamic.
