Summary

Coordinates shipping orders, assembles customer orders from stock and places order on a pallet, stretch wraps the order and marks material with identifying information and/or shipping labels.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following. Other Duties May Be Assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Posts weights and shipping charges and affixes proper labels.
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases or other containers.
• Operates various material handling and packing equipment.
• Uses the computer to track information on product inventory shipped / received or moved within the plant.
• Assemble, process and ship customer orders.
• Load and unload materials onto or off pallets, trays and shelves by hand or with hand jack.
• Cleans work area and other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School education or equivalent
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Team Player
