A Brief Overview
The Patient Services Representative/Rehabilitation Technician is the first point of contact for the patient. Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to greeting patients as they enter the clinic, answering incoming phone calls, scheduling patients, assist in the patient registration process, communication of benefit information, scanning patient documentation, collection of payments, and running reports indicated by management. Provides support in patient care and in carrying out therapeutic activities as directed by the therapist in a team environment consistent with professional practices and ethical standards. Provides cleaning and preparation of treatment areas and equipment as established by the department. Will have home facility assignment but remains ready to float emergency situations to other TH locations. The employee will complete other duties as assigned.
