IS Support Technician

Help Desk Technician

Premier Medical Resources is looking for a Help Desk Technician to join our team. The Help Desk Technician is responsible for providing efficient technical support both in person and remotely to ensure smooth operations of our computer systems, software applications and networking infrastructure. The IT Desk Support personnel will play a crucial role in resolving technical issues, maintaining hardware and software and delivering exceptional customer service to our internal users.

Essential Functions:

• Monitor and promptly respond to internal ticket system ensuring timely resolution of user requests and technical issues. Escalate complex problems to appropriate teams when necessary.
• Deliver professional and friendly support to users through various channels including in-person interactions, telephone, email, and remote-control software.
• Perform setup, configuration, troubleshooting, analysis and repair of desktops, laptops, printers, phone systems and networking equipment.
• Install and upgrade standard software applications, evaluate and install patches and resolve software-related problems.
• Assist in general networking and cabling setup for new practices/branches.
• Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients by efficiently handling hardware installation, racking, cabling and removal.
• Collaborate with colleagues to transform business obstacles into technical solutions.
• Provide progress reports to immediate supervisor on a regular basis.
• Perform other IT-related tasks as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Possess knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems including word processing, file management and general office procedures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer operations and relevant software applications.
• Demonstrated strong organizational, data analytic skills and perform basic excel data analysis and other platform maintaining consistent data for reporting purposes.
• Strong attention to detail ensuring meticulous completion of work tasks.
• Adaptability and flexibility embracing change and embracing a diverse range of responsibilities in the workplace.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain effective and organized systems to ensure smooth workflow.
• Excellent computer skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and E-Clinical.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word or similar platforms like Google Docs.
• Working knowledge of Windows client operating systems (7, 8, 10, 11) networking and hardware troubleshooting.
• Possess a strong desire to learn and develop new skills with an energetic and proactive approach.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year implementing and supporting networks and Microsoft Windows environment.
