Basic Purpose of the Job:
Enforces the hospitals information security policy via assignment of users application entitlements review of application audit logs user education and performance of ad-hoc inspection/monitoring activities. Assist management in the design of application security matrices.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in business accounting health or computer-related field
Minimum Work Experience:
Three years of supervisory experience in a high-volume high-security computerized work environment. Three years of transaction verification or audit experience. Prior healthcare environment experience preferred. Previous project management experience preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of healthcare and accounting information systems preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated coaching staff training and team leadership skills. Computer Security/audit certification preferred Working knowledge of computer applications in a MS Windows environment
