This leader needs to be a people leader who can collaborate well with others and provide strategic direction to the service line. The Heart and Vascular Administration department supports the structure for the Heart and Vascular Program and drives the strategic goals and priorities.
Responsible for directing patient care operations for Heart & Vascular services. Role model service excellence and builds teams that collaborate with others to serve and exceed the expectations of the hospital's customers. Champions pro-active employee relations, manages conflict and/or change towards productive outcomes. Strives for continuous improvement and business results that meet/exceed every customer's expectation.
Manages individuals including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
Ensures the delivery of services meet all professional standards of care within accountable areas of influence at all times. Plans, develops and directs operations and strategic direction of department and integrates these services with other departments.
Sets the department priorities in alignment with the priorities of the organization. Analyzes trends and statistics to promote efficient utilization of resources and promote quality improvement. Ensures effective coordination and collaboration with chiefs of medical staff.
Education: Bachelor's Degree- Nursing, Master's Degree- Nursing/Healthcare related
Experience: 2-5 years, Supervisor Experience: 2-5 years
