Senior Erp Integration Engineer

We are seeking a Senior ERP Integration Engineer to join our team and lead the technical execution of ERP integrations for our customers. This role requires a strong background in ERP systems, hands-on integration experience, and the ability to design, develop, and maintain robust data flows between Axya's platform and enterprise ERPs.

The ideal candidate is a generalist engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has experience with multiple ERP systems, and can quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Build Integrations: Lead the development of integrations between Axya's API-driven infrastructure and ERP platforms such as Infor, Epicor, Genius, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX/365, and others.
• API & Data Mapping: Work with REST APIs, SQL, and middleware to build and maintain scalable integration pipelines.
• Solutioning: Collaborate with product, customer success, and client IT teams to scope integration requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
• Testing & Validation: Ensure accuracy, reliability, and security of integrations by implementing strong validation, error handling, and monitoring practices.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Produce technical documentation and support onboarding for customers and internal teams.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify integration bottlenecks and proactively recommend improvements in architecture, tooling, and automation.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in ERP integration or related engineering roles.
• ERP Knowledge: Hands-on integration experience with at least two major ERP platforms (Infor, Epicor, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Genius, etc.).
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, SQL
• Proficiency in .NET or similar backend frameworks (Java, Python experience is a plus)
• Familiarity with middleware/integration platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps) is an asset
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
• Mindset: Willingness to learn new ERP systems and adapt quickly to customer environments.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate technical details into business value.
