Tech Lead – Professional Services AFAH

At the heart of our ambition, our organization Professional Services (PSO) plays a strategic role in ensuring the proper implementation, optimization, and value creation of Axway solutions for our clients.

The PSO AFAH division, dedicated to the Axway Financial Accounting Hub (AFAH) solution, brings together around forty consultants in France (Trinity – La Défense) and in Romania (Bucharest). This team works on high-value missions: implementations, version upgrades, technical and functional audits, change management support, training, etc.

AFAH is a strategic solution for finance departments, allowing for centralized, coherent, and transparent management of accounting operations from various company systems. It stands as a key asset for ensuring regulatory compliance, traceability, and financial agility.

Responsibilities

Your role: Tech Lead – Expert & Technical Reference AFAH

A true technical pillar within the AFAH Services team, you will work on consulting and project missions, while also playing a cross-functional role as a technical reference.

Your main missions:

In consulting missions:

• Participate in project framing studies (On Premise and Cloud), with a focus on technical feasibility.
• Bring your expertise on architectures (classical or containerized) and best practices for implementing the AFAH solution.
• Advise our clients on the optimal integration of the solution into their IT systems.

In project contributions:

• Lead and prepare technical workshops with client teams.
• Contribute to the definition of target architectures and exchange interfaces (API REST, Kafka…).
• Participate in the elaboration of performance test plans and the sizing of infrastructures.
• Design, parameterize, and adapt the AFAH solution according to business needs.
• Develop specific extensions via the APIs and frameworks provided by the solution, within a secure and scalable framework.

Within the PSO AFAH team:

• Provide a technical mentorship role to the team’s consultants.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to relay the needs from the field and contribute to the evolution of the solution.
• Participate in pre-sales phases: definition of target architectures, POCs, technical responses to RFPs.

Qualifications

Your profile

Technical skills:

• Languages & frameworks: Java/Spring, Python, Shell, SQL
• Integration & APIs: REST, SOAP
• Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
• DevOps: GitLab, Jenkins, Maven
• Cloud: Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP is appreciated
• Security: SSL, SAMLv2, OpenID Connect (a plus)
• Databases: Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB (a plus)

Soft skills:

• Interpersonal skills and team spirit
• Ability to work independently
• Synthesis skills and clarity in written and oral communication

Languages:

• Fluent French
• Professional English

Location: Position based at Trinity – La Défense, with the possibility of remote work according to Axway policies. Periodic travel expected, mainly in the Paris region.
