We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations / Technical Lead to join our team and play a critical role in driving the strategic and technical direction of our network services across the Axian footprint.
As Head of Operations / Technical Lead, you will:
Define and execute technical strategies and architecture for Silver Links services.
Manage and optimize international voice, signaling, messaging, and data platforms.
Coordinate cross-functional technical teams and vendor relationships.
Oversee implementation of centralized roaming and messaging platforms.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
Proactively support fraud prevention, monitoring systems, and service quality improvement.
Collaborate closely with commercial teams and contribute to strategic client engagements.
Lead the technical input for partner onboarding, interconnect setup, and new service rollouts.
Provide transparent reporting on KPIs and network performance to leadership.
Education: Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field. Additional certifications in Project Management or Business Administration are a plus.
Experience: 8+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including international carrier business. At least 3 years in a managerial or senior leadership role. Proven experience in network planning, service deployment, and technical operations. Familiarity with submarine cables, IP/MPLS, OTN, SDH, and WDM technologies.
Skills: Strong knowledge of international voice, messaging, and roaming platforms. Analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with cross-functional and multicultural teams. Business-minded, proactive, and tech-savvy.
Languages: Fluent in English (required). Working knowledge of French is a plus.
