Summary
Location: Elmwood, LA
Duration: 8 Months
U.S. Citizenship is Required, due to the possibility of having to travel to government/federal facilities.
Mileage: 250-350 per week.
Responsibilities
Repair laptops and desktops in the metro area.
Perform repair activities such as replacing hard drives, motherboards, and keyboards.
Conduct whole unit swaps, repair, or replace PC peripherals.
Close service tickets in real time in the Company's Call Management system using a company-provided phone.
Requirements
Must have own reliable car and car insurance.
1 year of hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break-fix.
General knowledge of laptop/desktop hardware and software, including basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Ability to resolve basic/non-complex problems as directed.
Client and/or governmental clearance may be required.
Police or criminal background verification clearance may be required.
Dell certifications are required once an offer is extended and prior to starting work. These are free of cost to the candidate.
Preferred Skills
Computer-building background experience.
