At Axelerant, you will architect and lead large-scale, multi-cloud Salesforce transformation programs for enterprise customers. You'll define future-ready architectures spanning Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud while shaping how organizations engage customers, unify data, and scale personalization. You will work directly with customer and program leadership, guide cross-functional engineering teams, and ensure every cloud operates as one cohesive, governed ecosystem. We're looking for a Staff-level Salesforce Architect with deep hands-on expertise across core clouds, strong Data Cloud experience, and the ability to translate business outcomes into scalable multi-cloud architectures. You will drive technical strategy, own architecture decisions, and mentor teams while leading the execution of a complex Salesforce-enabled transformation.
Your job responsibilities include:
- Define and own the end-to-end multi-cloud architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and supporting platforms.
- Create target state architecture diagrams, integration maps, and Data Cloud object models.
- Translate business goals like 360-degree profiles, personalization, and attribution into clear and scalable technical designs.
- Ensure all designs follow Salesforce GA best practices, performance guidelines, and compliance standards.
- Lead discovery including audits, configuration reviews, integration assessments, and stakeholder workshops.
- Perform gap analysis between the current landscape and the desired future state.
- Establish roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, and foundational architectural principles.
- Validate data readiness and integration feasibility across Snowflake, S3, CommerceTools, GA4, TrustArc, and other systems.
- Design ingestion pipelines from Salesforce clouds, Marketing Cloud, Snowflake, S3, ERP, membership systems, GA4, and TrustArc.
- Define DLO/DMO mappings, identity resolution rules, transformations, and calculated insights such as CLV, RFM, and churn.
- Architect segmentation and activation patterns, governance frameworks, consent alignment, and retention controls.
- Ensure accurate, scalable identity resolution and creation of a unified 360 Diver Profile.
- Rationalize Marketing Cloud business units, authentication, data models, subscriber keys, and journey design.
- Architect multilingual, modular content and personalization frameworks.
- Align Marketing Cloud with CRM and Data Cloud through synchronized DEs, event models, and activation flows.
- Ensure customer journeys follow global consent, privacy, and suppression rules.
- Design and govern cross-cloud integrations including Salesforce to Marketing Cloud, Salesforce to Data Cloud, Data Cloud to Marketing Cloud, and Snowflake/S3 to Data Cloud.
- Define integration patterns including API-led, ETL, event-driven, and reverse ETL.
- Ensure secure, tokenized connectivity using OAuth 2.0, Named Credentials, and governance around versioning and auditing.
- Establish frameworks for monitoring, alerting, reconciliation, and error handling.
- Define scalable data models, clean object relationships, and standardized lifecycle processes across Sales and Service Cloud.
- Drive automation using Flows while eliminating legacy builders.
- Establish forecasting, attribution, and user experience optimization patterns.
- Ensure CRM evolves into a single source of truth across global teams.
- Architect role hierarchies, permission sets, and sharing rules.
- Apply data classification, encryption, and audit frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with DPDP, GDPR, CCPA, and global privacy requirements.
- Oversee TrustArc-based consent architecture across CRM, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud.
- Lead Change Control Board governance, design reviews, and release management processes.
- Define QA strategy across functional, integration, identity resolution, and regression layers.
- Ensure test coverage reflects cross-cloud flows and multi-cloud dependencies.
- Validate that UAT aligns with business outcomes and end-to-end journeys.
- Produce architecture decks, runbooks, data catalogs, and flow documentation.
- Train admins, developers, marketers, and sales teams on the architecture.
- Participate in quarterly architecture reviews and roadmap refinement.
- Support managed services teams to prevent architecture drift.
- Act as the primary architecture authority.
- Make decisions that balance configurability, performance, compliance, and long-term maintainability.
- Review configurations and customizations before deployment.
- Ensure all Salesforce clouds and integrated systems operate as a cohesive platform.
