Your Role And Missions

Within the IT department of AXA France, our team dedicated to the integration and modernization of digital solutions plays a strategic role in the development of the company's software architecture. The position is part of an innovation project aimed at strengthening AXA's SOA integration platform, promoting the implementation of robust and scalable API services. The overall objective is to contribute to the design and development of APIs in a cloud Kubernetes environment, while respecting agile practices and technical excellence. Under the responsibility of your tutor, you will be asked to: Participate in agile ceremonies (daily, planning, retrospective) to follow the project's progress. Analyze business needs and design technical solutions in collaboration with architecture and development teams. Write technical architecture documents to ensure the consistency of solutions. Develop APIs using the Spring Boot stack in a Kubernetes environment, respecting co-constructed architecture patterns. Implement unit tests, perform pair testing, and contribute to product acceptance phases. Monitor project planning and provide accurate reporting of your activity according to the Agile method. Participate in the continuous improvement of solutions by integrating our communities of practice (CoP), proposing best practices, and contributing to the reduction of technical debt. Cultivate your engineering skills through technology scouting, participation in dojos, and pair programming.

Your Profile

You are preparing a Master 2 / Bac+5 in engineering school or university, with a specialization in computer science or software development. You are looking for an internship contract lasting 24 months, with a start planned in September 2026. Required skills: Mastery of at least one technology stack (Java is required, others like.Net, J2EE, React are appreciated). Ability to write synthetic technical documents, guides, and reference sheets. Knowledge of testing practices (jUnit, Soap-UI). Knowledge of Rest and Soap services. Affinity for software craftsmanship and continuous improvement. Behavioral: Autonomy, ability to research information and formalize needs. Active listening, open-mindedness, and synthesis. Passionate, curious, with a strong desire to learn. Team spirit, sense of sharing, and customer orientation. Ability to take a step back and put collective success before individual success.
