Senior Multinational Client Service Specialist – Property, Energy & Construction

Our team serves as the operational hub for our Benelux business, working closely with underwriters to deliver the highest quality service to our clients, in partnership with brokers. We are seeking a positive, organized, and results-driven team player to support our expanding operations. At the heart of our work is the management of Multinational Solutions, providing insurance coverage to clients worldwide in close collaboration with foreign AXA XL offices and network partners. This role also plays a key part in driving change and transformation, which are fundamental to AXA XL's culture. We are currently looking for a (Senior) Multinational Client Service Specialist to support our growth ambitions. The role will focus on three strategic product areas for Benelux: Property, Energy, and Construction. Our operations span the Netherlands and Belgium. The position is based in our Amsterdam office, with a minimum requirement to work in the office three days a week.

What you'll be doing:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, brokers, and other external parties;
  • Collaborate closely with underwriters, colleagues from other AXA XL offices, and network partners to ensure the timely and accurate handling of accounts;
  • Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing structured feedback and supporting the ongoing development of our workflows and technology tools;
  • Verify and review prepared policy documents, invoices, and premiums, ensuring data accuracy and maintaining up-to-date records within our systems;
  • Communicate clearly with clients, brokers, and internal teams about the status of insurance contracts—including issuance, bookings, outstanding premiums, and instructions to network partners;
  • Monitor premium flows and related transactions across clients, brokers, co-insurers, and reinsurers to ensure smooth and efficient processes;
  • Participate in broker and client events with your peers (e.g. underwriting, claims, distribution, risk consulting).

What you will bring:

  • A bachelor's degree, or relevant insurance experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Prior experience in an underwriting support role, preferably within global program business;
  • Proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office (Word & Excel at a minimum); a keen interest or advanced knowledge in data analytics—such as data processing and visualization—is highly valued;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch; proficiency in French is a plus;
  • A proactive attitude with a robust desire to learn and develop;
  • Knowledge of insurance products, ideally in Property, Energy & Construction.
