Job overview: We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Nurse Case Manager to join our team in Tunbridge Wells or Bristol on a full-time, permanent basis. In this rewarding role, you'll provide expert guidance and support to members who have experienced clinical or medical negligence. You'll also collaborate with solicitors and the Third-Party Recovery (TPR) team to help recover AXA Health's financial outlay, using your knowledge of the law of subrogation to protect our interests—while ensuring our members receive the highest level of support throughout their journey.

Work arrangements: At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
Working hours & shift pattern: You'll work full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 8am and 5pm.

Your skills & experience: Current registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC). Substantive post registration clinical experience. Nursing diploma or Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in nursing. Experienced in discussing, reassuring, and supporting individuals with a wide range of medical issues. Understanding of clinical negligence with the ability in explaining its meaning to others. Ability to identify valid medical negligence cases and advise on next steps, including complaints and legal processes. Sound relationship-building skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills together with proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom. This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years. Please also note that you'll be screened through an enhanced DBS Check.
