Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Scheduling
- Schedule and adjust daily labor and equipment assignments.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure full coverage.
- Respond to service calls and job updates in real time.
- Communicate with contractors to obtain plans and schedule post mounting.
- Call in utility locates for upcoming installations.
System & Ticket Management
- Create, update, and finalize job tickets.
- Track job progress and ensure billing accuracy.
- Conduct service checks for long-term projects (30+ days).
Fleet & Equipment Oversight
- Schedule rental equipment delivery and return.
- Monitor vehicle tracking (e.g., Samsara) and report infractions.
- Manage fuel cards and supply orders.
Timekeeping & Compliance
- Verify and approve employee time records.
- Submit weekly time reports and purchase order requests.
Customer Service & Quality Control
- Provide excellent service to contractors and internal teams.
- Conduct occasional field visits to ensure job quality and crew performance
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience; or any combination of education, experience, and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Strong leadership skills to ensure drivers' compliance with direction and assignments
- Basic understanding of the geographical area and mapping programs to facilitate efficient routing
- Proficient with or able to quickly learn dispatch and record-keeping systems.
- Ability to work independently with little instruction and adapt to change at a fast pace and under pressure
- High integrity and a strong work concept
- Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively with a focus on timeliness and responsiveness.
- High degree of energy, self-motivation, and flexibility
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with others
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Strong work ethic with a professional, positive attitude
