AVL Maroc SARL AU offers a job in Morocco (MA) as an Emissions Calibration Engineer. Your responsibilities include developing and adjusting exhaust system calibrations, optimizing engine management parameters to minimize NOx, CO, HC, particulate matter, and CO₂ emissions, conducting testing on engine dyno, chassis dyno, and in real-world conditions (RDE, WLTP), participating in the homologation campaign in collaboration with laboratories and regulatory teams, analyzing results and proposing corrective actions for calibration, utilizing emissions measurement and ECU data tools (INCA, CANape, AVL CRETA, Matlab), diagnosing deviations from regulatory and customer targets, working closely with engine, hardware, software, and homologation teams, and providing calibration support to project teams and suppliers.

Your profile should include an education in engineering degree or master’s in powertrain, energy, mechanical engineering, or equivalent. Experience of 2 to 5 years in emissions-focused engine calibration is required. Proficiency in technical French and English is necessary. Personal qualities should be rigorous, analytical, team-oriented, and autonomous. Based in Casablanca and/or Oued Zem, proficiency in exhaust after-treatment systems, strong knowledge of environmental regulations (Euro 6/7, WLTP, RDE, EPA, CARB), experience with calibration and data acquisition tools (INCA, CANape, AVL CRETA), understanding of combustion processes and engine/emissions interactions, and ability to perform statistical analysis and process test data are also required.
