What Will You Do In Your Role?
- Conduct accessibility testing on websites, mobile apps, and digital platforms
- Evaluate products against WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and other relevant standards
- Use assistive technologies (e.g. screen readers, voice recognition software) to simulate user experiences
- Document accessibility issues and provide clear, actionable feedback to development teams
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and QA teams to ensure accessibility is integrated throughout the product lifecycle
- Stay up to date with accessibility trends, tools, and legislation.
What Skills Do We Expect From You?
Ideally
- Understanding of WCAG 2.1/2.2 level AA and AAA and other accessibility standards
- Experience using tools like Axe, WAVE, JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA roles is desirable
- Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, convey technical concepts, and collaborate with cross functional teams
- Ability to deliver on commitments and timelines
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple competing priorities
- Demonstrated experience supporting a team and close cooperation with developers
Nice To Have
- Skilled with programming languages like C#, TypeScript or alternative ones (Python, JavaScript etc.)
- Keen on latest trends in technology such as AI and Machine Learning
