Conduct accessibility testing on websites, mobile apps, and digital platforms
Evaluate products against WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and other relevant standards
Use assistive technologies (e.g. screen readers, voice recognition software) to simulate user experiences
Document accessibility issues and provide clear, actionable feedback to development teams
Collaborate with designers, developers, and QA teams to ensure accessibility is integrated throughout the product lifecycle
Stay up to date with accessibility trends, tools, and legislation.
Ideally
Understanding of WCAG 2.1/2.2 level AA and AAA and other accessibility standards
Experience using tools like Axe, WAVE, JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA roles is desirable
Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, convey technical concepts, and collaborate with cross functional teams
Ability to deliver on commitments and timelines
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple competing priorities
Demonstrated experience supporting a team and close cooperation with developers
Nice to have
Skilled with programming languages like C#, TypeScript or alternative ones (Python, JavaScript etc.)
Keen on latest trends in technology such as AI and Machine Learning
