Onsite Support Associate

The Onsite Support Associate is responsible for testing and onboarding new and existing conference spaces. Maintaining an accurate inventory of decommissioned devices. In addition to cellular tasks (picking up returned phones and shipping to vendor).
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Setup/breakdown of conference spaces to meet the customers event needs
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain customer spaces
- Perform support tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner
- Provide field service support of networked devices
- Collaborate with internal/external teams in a professional manner that reflects the values of AVI-SPL
- Understand and adhere to local safety standards for all site duties
- Provide job site documentation and end user training as needed
- Setup and troubleshoot various audio/video/presentation systems
- Travel to various job sites as required
Items to consider:
- AVI-SPL reserves the right to alter work hours and work location as necessary. Work hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the account.
- This position will generally work on customer sites and may deal with a construction site type of work environment.
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- A/V service and maintenance knowledge.
- Ability to remove and attach A/V system to walls and other mounts.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Proficient with Microsoft Teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Recognize problems / issues and take the necessary steps to resolve them quickly.
- Previous experience in A/V systems service, maintenance, or decommissioning.
- Previous experience in warehouse environments
- Ability to work and think independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a demanding environment.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work on feet for prolonged periods of time.
- A valid driver license.
Nice-to-haves:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of audiovisual integration experience
- Formal education in Electronics or related field
- Intermediate PC troubleshooting knowledge
- Cellular technical skills
