Rental Sales Agents are responsible for assisting customers with their rental needs and promoting the company's products and services. This position involves interacting with customers, handling rental agreements and payments, and providing information on rental prices and policies. A Rental Sales Agent may also be responsible for checking in and out vehicles, conducting inspections, and selling additional products and services. This position typically requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to sell, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Some specific responsibilities of a Rental Sales Agent may include:

• Assisting customers and listening to their needs to find the best rental options
• Handling rental agreements and payments, providing information on rental prices and policies, and available vehicles
• Selling additional products and services, such as coverage and GPS navigation systems
• Explaining final fees to customers and obtaining receipt signatures for rental agreements
• Assisting with directions and travel information
• Maintaining accurate records and completing paperwork
• Performing daily back-office tasks (handling emails, preparing station reports)
• Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
• Ensuring that safety and security protocols are followed at all times

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent education level
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills
• Previous experience in sales or customer service, especially in the car rental, retail, or hospitality industry, preferably 1-2 years
• Valid driver's license with a clean criminal record
• Openness to flexible working hours, including weekends
