Job Description

What you will do: This position is responsible for partnering with suppliers to leverage their quality in order to improve our customer experience and to ensure compliance with current regulations and industry standards.

  • Performing supplier audits and reports
  • Follow up CAPA resulting from supplier audits
  • Keep the approved supplier list up to date
  • Support procurement in supplier release and development
  • Manage and follow up supplier complaints
  • Keep the quality document system with respect to supplier quality up to date
  • Identify key raw material parameters that can result in bad quality and propose solutions
  • Maintain supplier quality records and monitor supplier performance
  • Maintain the relationship with key suppliers through regular review meetings
  • Promote and follow up initiatives to improve quality
  • Routinely practices and promotes safe work habits.

Authority in decision making:

  • Responsible for supplier complaint process
  • Can quarantine and reject defect raw material
  • Can release or block suppliers through supplier escalation process or through approved supplier list
  • Supplier development program

More specifically, the incumbent may be required to perform additional and/or different responsibilities from those set for the above.

Qualifications

What you need: Qualifications

  • Familiar with industry standards and regulatory guidelines such as but not restricted to ISO 13485
  • Auditor accreditation in any of the above standards is an advantage
  • Must be able to interact well with suppliers, peers, subordinates, and senior personnel in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong technical background or experience in an industrial environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Analytical and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of basic statistics
  • Problem solving skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Willing and able to travel up to 5%.
