Process Engineer

In this role, you are responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our state-of-the-art cutting machines (finishing/slitters) at the Gotha location. The goal is to ensure smooth production of self-adhesive materials and to contribute continuously to the improvement of safety and manufacturing processes.

Main responsibilities:

  • On-site deployment in Gotha.
  • Ensuring the optimal performance of our cutting machines (finishing/slitters) through process analyses.
  • Ensuring smooth production of self-adhesive materials.
  • Active participation in the continuous improvement of safety and manufacturing processes.
  • Identifying and implementing optimization potentials in terms of safety, productivity, quality, and costs in cross-departmental cooperation.
  • Technical adjustments to resolve equipment problems and increase machine performance.
  • Occasional support in the coating area.

Qualifications:

  • Completed degree, preferably in mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering, or plastics engineering.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a manufacturing company.
  • Practical knowledge of lean tools and continuous improvement processes, as well as a strong safety awareness.
  • Experience in project management based on lean/six sigma methods.
  • Secure German and English language skills as well as a passion for innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.
