Laboratory Support Associate

The Opportunity:

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented General Lab Support Associate to join our team in Mölndal. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the planning, communication, and operational setup of new laboratory service areas in collaboration with a team planning and facilitating laboratory moves. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone with hands-on experience in lab operations, logistics, and service coordination.

Employment type: Full time, temporary

Key Responsibilities

• Attend weekly planning meetings and provide on-site support for lab setup.
• Coordinate internal communications for lab relocations and service area launches.
• Review and update documentation related to lab operations.
• Facilitate stockroom and point-of-use (PoU) arrangements.
• Oversee lab support processes including glassware stations, lab coat management, and chemical store operations.
• Manage signage, dispatch areas, pipette stations, and other pick-up points.
• Handle purchases and assist in establishing new workspaces and procedures (e.g., booking cards, hoteling).
• Respond to ad hoc requests and ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
• Perform routine tasks such as order entry, shipping & receiving, inventory replenishment, waste disposal

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in organizing workspaces or interiors (lab or similar environments).
• Comfortable with physical tasks and hands-on work.
• Decisive, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with basic IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience in laboratory or logistics support roles.
