AutoZone's part-time retail sales associates drive sales through superior customer service by exceeding customer expectations and providing a WOW! Customer Service experience. While assisting customers, the retail sales associate will perform daily assigned duties and remain compliant with company procedures in accordance with AutoZone expectations. Position responsibilities include providing WOW! customer service, ensuring assigned store tasks are completed in a timely manner, operating cash registers, following company policies, maintaining a safe working environment, maintaining store appearance, restocking merchandise, utilizing ZNET, practicing GOTTChA, utilizing OBDII, diagnosing automobile problems, recommending solutions, communicating with managers, and developing more effective customer service skills.
Position requirements include applicants who are 18 years or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent, possess basic knowledge of automotive parts, have excellent communication and decision-making skills, and the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise. The ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the business needs is also required.
