AutoZone's part-time Retail Sales Associates drive sales through superior customer service by exceeding customer expectations and providing a WOW! Customer Service experience. While assisting customers, the Retail Sales Associate will perform daily assigned duties and remain compliant with company procedures in accordance to AutoZone expectations by Living the Pledge every day. Position responsibilities include: providing WOW! customer service, ensuring assigned store tasks are completed in a timely manner, operating cash registers and following established cash handling procedures, following company policies and loss prevention procedures, maintaining a safe working environment, maintaining store appearance and merchandising standards, restocking and placing merchandise, utilizing ZNET to help customers locate merchandise, maintaining product knowledge and current promotions, assisting with the installation of wipers blades, batteries and light bulbs, utilizing OBDII to read codes from customer's automobiles, diagnosing automobile problems and recommending solutions, communicating with managers regarding customer concerns and employee matters, and actively engaging in developing more effective customer service skills.

Position requirements include: applicants 18 years or older, high school diploma or equivalent, basic knowledge of automotive parts, excellent communication and decision making skills, ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, and ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the business needs.
