Sr. Director, Delivery Management
ADP is hiring a Sr. Director, Delivery Management within our Strategic Operations organization. In this role as Sr. Director, Delivery Management, you will primarily be responsible for leading, directing and supporting the end-to-end program delivery efforts for Client Journey Modernization – a large, multi-year, transformation effort to streamline and modernize our client's journey across ADP's marketing, sales, implementation, service and billing milestones and processes. In conjunction with the business unit (BU) Strategic Business Owners (SBO), implements and executes transformational improvements, best practices and standard operating procedures, across ADP.
You will act as a client advocate by balancing delivery speed while managing reasonable expectations from an operations perspective. That will allow you to serve as a liaison between Operations, Marketing/Sales, and Billing for all process changes and improvements.
This is a highly visible and collaborative position within a matrixed organization that works closely with senior leaders, key stakeholders, GPT (ADP technology organization) and functional working team members across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Billing. This role has no direct reports at the current time (but may in the future) and currently reports directly to the SVP of Strategic Operations.

What You'll Do: Responsibilities
- Acts as a client advocate by balancing delivery speed and quality needs while managing reasonable expectations from an operations perspective. Includes setting the direction and prioritizing "horizontal use cases" that span the entire ADP ecosystem on behalf of the client.
- Participates in senior management decision-making process as required, concerning end-to-end process issues, strategic/tactical questions and procedures and leads the planning and execution of key capabilities of the CJM program.
- Drives process improvement, integration and alignment across the entire company. Own outcomes of key elements of the CJM program, including design, build and launch execution of the horizontal use cases as well as other value-based, AI capabilities.
- Consults with other organizations on optimal ways to implement horizontal use cases to capture maximum value for ADP and drive client delight.
- Leads by example; coaching, promoting, encouraging and mentoring the CJM program team towards high performance.
- Serves as an escalation point for the resolution of process and/or system issues during the execution and delivery of core project elements as well as value-add capabilities and horizontal use cases.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
To Succeed in This Role: Requirements
- This position will sit in our Roseland, NJ; Alpharetta, GA; Augusta, GA; Norfolk, VA; Schaumburg, IL; or Tempe, AZ. We support a hybrid working arrangement; 3 days in the office (minimum) and 2 days at home.
- Experience: 12+ years' direct operations (sales, marketing, implementation, service) experience, including 12-18 months transformational program delivery experience.
- Proven ability and experience to develop and execute strategic business strategies
- Recognized as an individual with outstanding leadership skills, passion, professionalism, communication, and strategic business thinking
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to manage within a matrixed environment
- Collaborative team player who can adapt to a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across organizations and cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes
- Demonstrated skills in workshop development and facilitation, program/project management, problem solving, and attention to detail
- Strong strategic and critical thinking skills
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and launch and manage programs with minimal supervision
- Ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse teams.
A college degree is preferred but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:
