Service & Sales Representative (Route-Based)
Auto-Chlor System has been serving the commercial food service industry for over 85 years, and we're hiring a Service & Sales Representative to join our San Diego team.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing, route-based role supporting restaurants, kitchens, and commercial facilities. If you enjoy working independently, building relationships, and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty, this role may be a great fit.
What You'll Do
After paid training, you'll manage a set customer route using a company vehicle. Your day includes:
- Visiting customers face-to-face and professionally representing Auto-Chlor
- Restocking chemical products and supplies
- Performing preventive maintenance on commercial dishwashers our customers lease from us
- Troubleshooting basic mechanical issues (training provided)
- Upselling products and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts
- Working in back-of-house kitchen environments that require bending, lifting, and physical activity

What You'll Get
- Anticipated annual earnings: $60,000–$65,000 ($24/hour + guaranteed overtime + on-call pay)
- 40–45 hours per week
- Monday–Friday schedule (7:30 AM–4:30 PM)
- On-call rotation every 10 weeks

Requirements
- Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of general driving experience
- Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical work throughout the day
- Mechanical aptitude (training provided)
- Strong customer service skills and professionalism
