The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) is seeking a talented, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individual to support the accounting and reporting functions at the agency. The position will focus on general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial reporting functions. General Description: Performs senior level work related to accounting and reporting for the Financial Services Division of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB). Work involves supervising a department with responsibilities that include preparing account reconciliations, performing general ledger accounting work, and analyzing and reporting on financial data. Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. This position reports to the Director of Financial Accounting and Reporting.
