Work with Knight Center leadership to develop, maintain, and execute a marketing and communications strategy for the Center and its main programs. Keep the strategy up-to-date and adapt it as needed.

Write, edit, and distribute promotional stories and press releases about the Knight Centers courses, events, publications, and more, for publication in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Create and execute campaigns to promote the Knight Centers programs (and related offerings) on social media, ensuring that the Centers presence in multiple platforms is relevant and engaging. Grow the Centers presence on social media and establish and track related goals and benchmarks for success.

Produce and/or coordinate the production of social media creatives for free and paid promotion on multiple platforms to promote Knight Centers programs, track incoming traffic, and develop related best practices.

Oversee the Centers database by using it to send email marketing materials and engage audiences, while also developing new ways of using it as effectively as possible.

Deepen engagement with existing audiences, and find creative ways to cultivate new audiences, in service of growing the Centers international reach.

Maintain and update the Knight Centers institutional website and, in collaboration with staff, help to maintain the Centers programmatic websites.

Create and edit videos that showcase the Knight Centers programs and upcoming offerings.

Attend occasional conferences and other events on behalf of the Knight Center, with the goal of helping to market the Centers programs.

Oversee the work of marketing and communication interns and provide related guidance and feedback.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
