Manage the hiring, supervision, training, and evaluation of the Undergraduate and Specialty Masters Recruiting Operations team which facilitates recruiting for our undergraduate and graduate students in the business school. Provide inspiring and supportive leadership for staff. Foster an environment where staff are recognized as innovative and productive members of the Texas McCombs community. Encourage collaboration, innovation, ownership, and accountability. Lead team with education and best practices to effectively support employers from various industry sectors to enhance the recruiting experience and success of both employers and students. Develop and implement KPIs to monitor team performance and consistency in employer support.
Direct Single-Employer Programming and Account Management Strategy Work closely with Career Management and Corporate Relations leaders to structure the offerings of single-employer recruiting events, activities, and schedules to ensure effective recruiting outcomes for both employers and students. Support the growth of McCombs employer ecosystem for undergraduate and graduate programs by driving the number and quality of posts and employer engagement. Grow team members relationships with the portfolio of employers who are active, involved, and new to McCombs recruiting through strong guidance, streamlined processes and educational resources to ensure consistency. Drive operational efficiency in employer relationship management through effective tracking, technology organization, and cross-collaborative communication.
Facilitate and Manage Recruiting Process Serve as a liaison to employers from various industry sectors to enhance the recruiting experience and success of both employers and students at the McCombs School of Business. Manage and coordinate recruiting schedules, events, and job postings using Career Management software and utilize data management tools to manage business processes. Monitor booking activity for accuracy to avoid potential schedule conflicts. Develop and manage procedures, guidelines, and operational strategies to provide employers with a seamless experience when recruiting Texas McCombs talent.
Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration Communicate and collaborate with internal and external constituents to foster positive relationships and departmental effectiveness. Knowledge of McCombs and UT-wide processes. Interact with Career Management departments across campus to aid employers in recruiting at McCombs as part of a broader campus recruiting effort. Track and manage employer engagement and postings, sharing relevant information with internal cross-functional teams to support and inform employer and corporate ecosystem strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to align external employer communication and marketing efforts with team goals focused on recruiting launches, timelines, and logistics.
Manage Online Recruiting System and Operational Efficiency Maintain relationship with technology manager to ensure career services management software infrastructure is operating efficiently. Coordinate evaluation, deployment, and maintenance of the recruiting management software system. Address employer issues for online job boards. Coordinate with IT and other career management constituents to ensure successful outcomes. Develop collaborative processes and procedures across recruiting teams to ensure a simplified process for employers to engage with McCombs programs and provide uniformities for the team. Oversee Interview Center Operations Manage daily operations of the Ford Career Center, Rowling Hall Interview Center and office suites. Maintain the physical condition of Ford Career Center and Rowling Hall Interview Center common spaces, equipment, and supplies. Ensure interview center is appropriately staffed. Develop and maintain processes, timelines, and infrastructure which cultivate positive recruiting experiences for both employers and students. Manage procurement operations including vendor relationships, expense tracking, and ensuring operation is staying on budget.
