The Director, Guest and Volunteer Services role will oversee both Dell Seton Medical Center and Ascension Seton Medical Center and will require travel between the two sites. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, during day hours. The location is Austin, TX.

Responsibilities include directing the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies for the assigned area(s), developing and administering business plans reflecting the organization's mission and goals, developing and implementing policies, procedures, standards and initiatives, planning, organizing and directing all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating and continuing education initiatives, planning and managing the department's financial operations including budget development, expense and revenue analysis, evaluation of services and development activities, overseeing the ongoing related education and training of leadership, staff, and physicians across the system, and communicating their respective responsibilities in carrying out the program, and collecting and analyzing volunteer utilization data demonstrating measured impact, increased patient satisfaction scores, lowered readmission rates and increased organizational focus on patient and family centered care.
Requirements include a high school diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management, or an associate's degree/bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management. Healthcare experience or exposure is preferred.
