The Senior Manager, Maintenance Services I is responsible for managing operations and personnel across assigned locations. This role includes direct supervision of 1–2 Supervisors, oversight of 2–4 office support staff, and leadership of 20–30 Technicians, either directly or through supervisory staff. The Senior Manager, Maintenance Services I must be able to accomplish results through the effective delegation of work and responsibilities, thus ensuring business objectives and labor requirements are met. Senior Manager, Maintenance Services I is responsible for ensuring that financial requirements are being met while balancing the needs of the customers against the requirements of the business. This position is responsible for the management of location(s) performance against comprehensive metrics to meet and/or exceed assigned objectives. This position is also responsible for ensuring that the location is in compliance with and properly executing all key company processes, Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Repair Practices. The SMMSI is responsible for adhering to all Ryder Maintenance Operations policies and procedures. This may also be a development position to prepare incumbents for the Senior Manager, Maintenance Services II role.

Qualifications: H.S. Diploma/GED, Required. Associate's degree in in business, transportation, distribution/logistics or related study, Preferred. Bachelor's Degree in in business, transportation, distribution/logistics or related study, Preferred. 4 years or more in operations environment or demonstrated success in a Ryder role, Required. 3 years or more in maintenance and technical experience in a shop environment, Required. 3 years or more in supervisory experience, Required. Competent in basic computer skills and in a Microsoft Office environment Intermediate, Required. Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of diesel trucking industry Intermediate, Required. Must be able to understand financial statements and basic accounting principles Intermediate, Required. Exposure to working with strategic labor, financial, operating, quality, safety and asset processes as well as related metric Intermediate, Required.

Compensation Information: The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Maximum Pay Range: 90000
