Truist Internship Program

The Truist Internship provides college students with an 8-12 week working and immersion experience to sharpen their skills. During this internship, time is focused on summer long projects with other students and full-time, experienced teammates. Interns have the opportunity to network with other interns, teammates, and senior leaders. Truist interns sharpen the leadership, technical, and business skill they'll use for the rest of their careers. The internship program serves as a pipeline to our Truist full-time programs.

Summer Analyst Program Overview

The Wholesale Credit Delivery summer analyst program will run for approximately 10 weeks in the summer months. The summer analyst program will consist of:

  • Networking socials, case studies and presentations, team-building projects
  • Executive Speaker Series: CEO, Truist Securities Senior Leaders, among others
  • Community Service: Opportunities to participate in various volunteer initiatives are provided and involvement is strongly encouraged.

Competitive Summer Analysts will be eligible to receive an offer to return in full time positions as part of our Analyst program upon graduation.

Job Description

The Wholesale Credit Delivery - Corporate & Leveraged Finance (WCD - CLF) team underwrites and manages the debt capital Truist commits to its corporate client base. WCD teammates work together with Corporate and Investment Bankers, Product Specialists, and Risk Managers to deliver capital and strategic ideas to the Truist client base. Post close of a debt funded transaction, WCD teammates lead the credit relationship with their clients and actively manage and monitor the credit profile and exposure levels across their portfolios. The summer program will introduce Wholesale Credit Delivery summer analysts to Truist, corporate finance and specifically, debt analysis. Summer analysts in this Wholesale Credit Delivery program will work with the Corporate & Leveraged Finance team, where they will get the opportunity to focus on the debt profiles of Truist Securities' clients and support Corporate and Investment Bankers, Product Specialists and Risk Managers to deliver strategic solutions to Truist's clients. The CLF team analyzes companies' financial operating performance, evaluates industry trends and identifies key risks and mitigants of a client's credit profile against our lending parameters. CLF Summer Analysts will work on cash flow analyses and underwriting credits to sharpen financial analysis skills.

This position is specifically for Atlanta, GA.

Minimum Requirements

  • Completed junior year of a BA/BS degree with a scheduled graduation of December 2026 or May/June 2027.
  • Overall GPA of 3.0
  • Proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Preferred Requirements

  • Business major
  • Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework
  • High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
  • Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program.
