Job Description

The Opportunity:

Great opportunity to become an Applications Support Analyst at AsureQuality.

Join a team of three that is managed by the Applications Lead - Auditing Stack and perform Applications Support Analysis and Testing for applications used within this large organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Critically evaluate information from multiple sources to provide user support.
• Write and run SQL queries and updates to support data quality.
• Help maintain System and User documentation as our technology stack evolves.
• Coordinate Enhancement and Maintenance releases: write, analyse & execute test scripts and organise UAT.
• Configuration using anything from HTML, JavaScript, Markdown, XML & XSLT.

This role involves doing a rotation of one week out of every three triaging user support requests across a variety of legacy and newer applications. The remaining time in the sprint cycle is spent in higher level Applications Support Analysis, Documentation and Testing.

Full-time permanent position to commence in October or November. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday and start anytime between 7am and 9am. Ideally based near Burnside (Christchurch) you will benefit from hybrid working as you can Work From Home 3 days per week.

About you:

To be a strong fit for this role you will ideally have:

• Prior experience in an Applications Support Analyst and/or Tester role.
• Strong computer literacy plus a friendly and professional phone & email manner.
• Good analytical and methodical problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to be productive working unsupervised.
• A tertiary qualification in IT and a desire to pursue a career in IT will be advantageous.
• An understanding of database concepts, experience with SQL scripts and running queries will be advantageous.
