People Solutions Engineer - AI

Astranus is scaling quickly, and our People Team is evolving rapidly to keep pace. We're seeking a versatile People Solutions Engineer who blends technical acumen with operational savvy. This is an opportunity to build innovative, scalable, and automated solutions to critical People processes.

Role

• Design and build AI-powered workflows and automation infrastructure to optimize productivity and efficiency across People systems.
• Act as a cross-functional bridge, translating operational needs into robust technical solutions.
• Vibe code to enhance platforms to drive scale, speed, and accuracy across People systems.
• Execute and streamline essential People Operations processes such as learning & development, and employee engagement.
• Develop scalable integrations between various People systems (e.g., Paylocity, Greenhouse, Lattice, LMS).
• Create and maintain internal documentation, policies, training content, and resources to support People Team operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in People Operations, technical operations, or a systems-focused role.
• Degree in a technical, systems, or data-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong foundational understanding of data infrastructure.
• Data-fluent; comfortable cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing workforce metrics.
• Hands-on experience integrating and managing People systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS, LMS).
• Familiarity with curriculum development, learning program design, and training delivery logistics.
• Clear communicator with strong process-thinking skills, comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Bonus

• Experience building internal AI-driven tools or automation agents.
• Background combining software development and People Operations.
• Proficiency in scripting or automation (e.g., Python, JSON, N8N).
• Ownership of recruitment operations and programs
• Familiarity with modern AI and LLM tooling (OpenAI, MCP, vector search).
• Practical experience managing or supporting a Learning Management System at scale.
• Knowledge of Greenhouse ATS and/or Paylocity HR/Payroll is a plus

What We Offer

All our positions offer a compensation package that includes equity and robust benefits. Base pay is a single component of Astranus's total rewards package, which may also include equity in the form of incentive stock options, high quality company-subsidized healthcare, disability and life insurance benefits, flexible PTO, 401(K) retirement, and free on-site catered meals. Astranus pay ranges are informed and defined through professional-grade salary surveys and compensation data sources. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, and the level and scope of the position.

Base Salary $110,000 - $130,000 USD
