✨ About The Role
- Responsible for designing RTL for high data rate, software-defined radios for FPGAs used in spacecraft and ground stations
- Collaborate closely with software, DSP, and hardware teams to achieve design requirements
- Design, implement, and test radiation mitigation schemes on FPGAs
- Work with multiple FPGAs and toolchains, interfacing with high-speed data converters, memories, and MCUs
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to the rapidly-growing team
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced FPGA engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware development, specifically in designing, implementing, and testing high throughput systems on FPGAs
- Proficient in Verilog/SystemVerilog for synthesis and verification, with experience in writing test benches and FPGA verification
- Strong background in system level estimates and implications of power, thermal, and real estate
- Familiarity with C/C++ bit accurate modeling of RTL modules and expertise in at least one domain beyond logic design
