✨ About The Role
- Responsible for technical ownership of design of kW-level power systems for satellites
- Manage and control key components such as solar panel arrays, power regulation and distribution, and high-density batteries
- Integrate power systems into the spacecraft by collaborating closely with the rest of the team
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to the rapidly-growing team
- Day-to-day tasks include simulations, schematic, layout, and hands-on board bring-up, debugging, and optimizing
⚡ Requirements
- Experienced electrical engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in hardware development, including designing, building, and testing analog and digital circuits
- Proficient in designing kW level power electronics and PCB thermal considerations
- Skilled in electrical CAD, Altium preferred
- Passionate about working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development
- Familiar with EMI/EMC experience and fault tolerance design
- Excited about the opportunity to work on power systems for next-generation satellites
