✨ About The Role
- Operate deployments and upgrades for production systems, automate deployment and monitoring for development and production systems
- Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, supporting software packages, and containers or virtualization
- Work with Flight and Ground software teams to operate, scale, and automate operations for key software and mission control systems
- Contribute to both commercial and US Government programs, improving the state of operations for key software systems at Astranis
- Opportunity to make a significant impact as Astranis expands its fleet of satellites and supporting services
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced DevOps engineer with 5+ years of Site Reliability, DevOps, or DevSecOps experience, preferably in the aerospace industry
- Strong background in Linux, shell programming (e.g. Bash), and experience with Python or C++
- Ability to autonomously lead DevOps efforts, improve system reliability, and manage IT infrastructure
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, highly motivated, and able to work independently
- Bachelor of Science in a related discipline (e.g. Information Technology, Computer Science) required
