- The intern will work closely with the engineering team to design, build, and implement the ground software system for GEOSat-1. - Collaboration with operations and satellite teams is crucial to build command interfaces and telemetry screens for satellite control. - The internship lasts for 12 weeks, providing a hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. - Interns will have the opportunity to tackle challenging problems and contribute to meaningful projects that impact global connectivity. - Many past interns have successfully transitioned to full-time roles within the company after their internship.

⚡ Requirements

- The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field. - A strong understanding of object-oriented programming, particularly in Python or similar languages, is essential. - The candidate should have demonstrated experience in designing, writing, and testing software from scratch. - U.S. Citizenship or Green Card is required due to compliance with U.S. Government space technology export regulations. - The successful intern will be able to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week and be onsite in San Francisco at least three days a week.
