As a Network Engineer specializing in WAN and Data Center (DC) operations, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and management of our network infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance and security across diverse digital services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Wide Area Network (WAN) and Data Center network solutions that support organizational objectives.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices to provide a reliable service.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to ensure minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement network policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Participate in network capacity planning and performance tuning efforts.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements to network infrastructure.
- Assist in network security management including firewall configurations, VPN, and intrusion detection systems.
- Support disaster recovery efforts and conduct regular backups of network configurations.
