Fullstack AI Engineer

AI is a core part of our work — from intelligent automation and search, to large language model (LLM)-powered applications, agentic workflows, and decision-support systems. Our engineers work across multiple types of initiatives: rapid Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), shared AI frameworks, and production-grade systems.
We operate in a cloud-native environment (AWS/Azure), build primarily with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, and deliver modern web applications using frameworks such as React or Vue.js. We value strong engineering fundamentals, pragmatism, and operational excellence.
What you will be working on:
As a Fullstack AI Engineer, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end AI-powered applications, covering frontend, backend, and AI components.
- Deliver Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) by rapidly building working prototypes to validate feasibility and demonstrate value within short timeframes.
- Build and enhance core AI frameworks, libraries, and reusable components to enable faster and more consistent AI development across the team.
- Develop production-grade AI systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Implement LLM-powered features, including prompt design, orchestration, structured outputs, and evaluation.
- Build agentic or multi-step AI workflows using modern AI frameworks (e.g. LangGraph, LangChain, or similar).
- Design and integrate search and retrieval systems, including data ingestion, vector indexing, and hybrid search.
- Develop backend services and APIs using Python-based frameworks (e.g. FastAPI, Django) and/or Node.js/Nest.js.
- Build intuitive user-facing interfaces using modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Vue.js).
- Contribute to LLMOps / MLOps practices, including model versioning, evaluation, monitoring, and deployment workflows.
- Work with cloud infrastructure, containerisation, and CI/CD pipelines to deploy and operate AI systems.
- Balance speed and robustness appropriately across POCs, shared frameworks, and production systems.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, other engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into working solutions.
- Debug, monitor, and improve systems in production, upholding high standards of operational excellence.
