Warehouseman

The Warehouseman supports the Willow Project as part of the Kuparuk Field Support Services team, performing a full range of warehouse and material-handling functions, including receiving, inspection, stocking, staging, packaging, inventory control, shipping, and material deliveries. This role is responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient offloading and coordination of multiple truck deliveries while working closely with Material Planners, Maintenance personnel, and Craft Leads to ensure accurate material flow, availability, and job support.

Essential duties include:

  • Support material deliveries for the Willow Project, ensuring timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Assist with the safe offloading, handling, and staging of materials, including coordination of multiple truck deliveries.
  • Collaborate with Material Planners, Maintenance personnel, and Craft Leads to return excess materials to stock or properly dispose of them upon job completion.
  • Utilize computerized systems and databases (e.g., SAP, Excel) to track, update, and report material status, including creating documentation to transfer, stage, issue, and return materials.
  • Interface and coordinate with client and company personnel across production, engineering, construction, maintenance, and purchasing, as well as with vendors and contractors.
  • Prepare, inspect, and utilize rigging equipment to safely lift, move, and position materials including pipe, equipment, and palletized loads during truck offloading and yard operations, using appropriate rigging methods (e.g., slings, chains, hooks, choker, and basket hitches).
  • Partner with crane operators and crew members to safely plan and execute lifting operations.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members to support safe, efficient, and coordinated work activities.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Adhere to all company and client safety policies, actively participate in safety meetings and training, and support a zero-incident safety culture.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment, ensuring proper storage and care of tools and equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of rigging equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
  • Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
  • Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
  • Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.

Required experience includes:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid (U.S issued) Driver's License is required.
  • A North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification is required.
  • The ability to work 84 hours a week on a 2x2 or 3x3 rotation is required.
  • At least three (3) years of experience handling the receiving, inspection, stocking, staging, packaging, inventory, shipping, and/or the delivery functions in a Warehouse is required.
  • At least three (3) years of experience rigging and offloading trucks with pipes, equipment, and other palletized loads is required.
  • Experience with SAP, Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.

Preferred experience includes:

  • Three (3) or more years of experience working as a Warehouseman, Rigger, or Rigging Technician specifically in the Petrochemical or Oil and Gas industry, on the North Slope, and/or in other Arctic environment is preferred.
