As a Team Lead Software Engineer at Aspire, you will lead and mentor a team of developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will oversee the full development lifecycle—from design to deployment—ensuring projects meet business goals, technical standards, and performance expectations. This role combines strong technical expertise with leadership skills to drive collaboration, innovation, and excellence across the team.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.
• Plan and execute software projects in collaboration with product managers and other stakeholders.
• Architect, design, and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical implementation with business objectives.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Drive continuous improvement by enhancing tools, processes, and team efficiency.
• Promote a culture of innovation, quality, and accountability within the engineering team.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role.
• Proven experience leading and managing development teams with successful project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, best practices, and architecture principles.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript (or similar).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular) and back-end frameworks (Spring Boot, Node.js).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar.
