Task Overview

European Player Network (EPN) is a young, fast-growing activity of Asmodee – a global player in the gaming industry, known for, among others, Ticket to Ride, Dobble, Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering. EPN was founded about 4 years ago and focuses on the distribution of English-language board and card games from mainly the United States. These games – often from successful Kickstarter projects – are brought to Europe via an innovative (online) distribution network.

Working at EPN means building a growing niche market in an international startup environment, supported by the strength of a global market leader.

What Will Your Role Encompass

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding our customer portfolio in Europe. This includes (online) specialty stores, game specialty stores, distributors and also bookstores that carry games in their assortment. You know better than anyone how to firmly establish a brand in the market and build long-lasting relationships.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Building our B2B network in Europe: from independent retailers to wholesalers and platforms;
• Acting as the first point of contact for customers and partners;
• Coordinating promotions, discount campaigns and product launches together with marketing;
• Analyzing market data and sales results to identify opportunities and undertake commercial actions;
• Thinking about assortment and positioning based on customer feedback and trends;
• Supporting the PIM process (product information management) to efficiently distribute product data;
• Actively contributing to achieving sales targets and growth plans.

What We Are Looking For

You are commercially strong, customer-oriented and love to pioneer. You feel at home in a dynamic environment where you can take initiative and switch quickly.

What you bring:

• Higher education work and thinking level;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales, Account Management or E-commerce (B2B);
• Excellent command of English (required), and Dutch (preferred);
• Familiarity with the gaming industry or retail/distribution is a plus;
• Experience with PIM or CRM systems is a plus;
• A proactive attitude, strong sense of responsibility and good communication skills.
