Rehabilitation Services Director

Direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies for rehabilitative services.

• Develop strategic goals, plan and standard consistent with clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
• Plan, organize and direct all activities related to staffing, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
• Prepare budgets for service area, ensure compliance, coordinate and direct audits.
• Direct and evaluate clinical activities to achieve performance and quality control objectives

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• One or more of the following required:
• Audiologist credentialed from the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
