How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

  • The Workflow: You must quickly triage incoming calls or walk-ins. This involves identifying whether a problem is a user error, a software glitch, or a mechanical failure requiring immediate clinical intervention.
  • Patient-Owned Repairs: Providing safe instructions for basic maintenance. For example, showing a patient how to change a filter, replace a backup battery, or sanitize tubing without damaging sensitive sensors.
  • Audit Trails: Maintaining precise logs of what education was provided to a patient to ensure the hospital meets regulatory standards.
  • Technical/Clinical Resolver: Managing expectations regarding repair timelines or equipment availability while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

  • Working Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, rotating on-call schedule
