The Opportunity
- Work on hydrology and flood risk projects across a range of sectors including highways, rail, energy, and environmental development
- Support the development of technical models, impact assessments, and infrastructure designs using tools such as ARR2019 and GIS
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions
- Contribute to internal team culture and actively support knowledge sharing, communication, and team-wide collaboration
- Represent Arup in internal and external settings, helping coordinate project efforts and ensuring timely delivery

Is this role right for you?
- Tertiary qualifications in civil, environmental engineering, or a related field, and consulting experience in infrastructure or water sectors
- Experience applying Australian Rainfall & Runoff 2019 and Austroads drainage design guidance
- Strong analytical and modelling skills in hydrology and hydraulics, and familiarity with digital and GIS tools
- Membership or eligibility for membership with a relevant professional institution
- A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a diverse, solutions-focused environment
