As a Junior HR Business Partner, you will be part of a committed and knowledgeable HR team, consisting of an HR Manager, Senior HR Business Partner, two HR Administrators, and a Payroll Specialist. Additionally, you will work closely with our Talent Acquisition team and international colleagues in the areas of Compensation & Benefits, Rewards, and Learning & Development.

As a Junior HR Business Partner at Arup, you will:
- Independently take responsibility for multiple departments within our organization. You will be the first point of contact for managers and employees with various HR issues. In addition, you will act as a critical sparring partner, translating complex issues into practical, efficient solutions.
- Work closely with our HR Administrators, where you will support each other to quickly and accurately scale. You will gain energy from building and maintaining sustainable relationships with various stakeholders and move easily at all levels within the organization. You will work within the frameworks of our HR policy and ensure that your knowledge of current laws and regulations is always up-to-date.
What else you do:
- You will proactively advise on topics such as inflow, throughput, and outflow, absenteeism, development, and performance.
- You will signal improvement opportunities in processes and actively contribute to various HR projects.
- You will contribute to an optimal employee experience, from onboarding to offboarding.
- You will work together with the HR Administrators to provide fast and high-quality service.
- Depending on your experience and ambition, you can also act as a prevention employee (in consultation).
Does this role inspire you?
We are looking for someone who:
- Has at least 3 years of relevant HR experience in a similar role, such as (junior) HR Business Partner, HR Advisor, HR Officer, or HR Employee.
- Has current knowledge of HR-related laws and regulations.
- Is well-organized, keeps an overview in dynamic situations, and effectively prioritizes.
- Is assertive, a true team player, and feels at home in an entrepreneurial and changing work environment.
- Masters both the Dutch and English languages excellently, both verbally and in writing.
- Is empathetic, yet professional, and has a quality-oriented attitude that fits within a progressive, international organization.
- Experience with Belgian legislation is a plus.
