Good Times Diner serves a dual purpose: to aid the members of the Kingston community and students and to provide Queen's students with enlightening and hands-on opportunities to make a difference locally. We aim to provide free and nutritious meals to all those who need it in order to address food security, while also fostering a safe, and positive environment for all our volunteers. GTD raises awareness about food security affecting both the broader Kingston community as well as on campus. Good Times Diner Meal Service Volunteers will assist in planning and executing bi-weekly services. Volunteers will participate in the cooking, plating, and distribution of meals to Queen's students. Volunteers will each participate in at least 2 shifts per month (3.5 hours each shift).
Applications will be available until September 20th at 4:00pm EST
