The Integration Operations Manager directs the day-to-day operation of the organization's merger partner integration, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures. This senior-level role drives the implementation of established policies and procedures in the merger partner's operations, ensures guidelines are adapted across newly acquired merger partner locations and departments, oversees training, and manages the rebranding process to ensure smooth assimilation and operational efficiency. Manages integration operations workflow to ensure priority items are resourced and successful. Audits current procedures and prepares related reports. Monitors efficiency of integration operations.
Oversee and ensure that the new merger partner operates in full compliance with Gallagher Standards of Excellence (GSE), Professional Standards, and company policies and procedures throughout all integration activities. Conduct GSE training for merger partner associates to familiarize them with company expectations and practices. Monitor and enforce merger partner associates' adherence to GSE and Professional Standards. DMS training coordination--we should work this into the LC training program Professional Standards training coordination/audits for non-CS team members.
Provide comprehensive support to Branch and Regional Operations Leaders, as well as Area Presidents, to assist new merger partners in transitioning to standardized GBS branch financial processes. This includes reconciling financial reports, supporting the development of annual budgets, and monitoring branch expenses. Oversee and manage the monthly tracking and reconciliation of merger partner revenue, including commission reporting. Vendor comparison/reconciliation process -- Primary Gap analyses.
Support job mapping from merger partner's job titles to Gallagher standards and reporting structure. Ensure staff complete mandatory corporate training requirements. Provide BPR support (non-CS items) Escalate risk items, coordinate mitigation Facilitate AP Ops employee orientation activities Coordinate with HR Coordinate on Concierge and GCoE resource needs matters and deployment support Centralized ops integration Team morale, culture, change management monitoring and issue escalation Adoption monitoring, savings tracking (if applicable for centralized ops utilization) Integration Support (including IT, Operations and Administrative) Serve as the primary point-of-contact for the merger partner's integration-related questions and ensure an overall positive experience. Explain to the merger partner and confirm their ongoing understanding of the overall integration plan, including key milestones for each functional area and related dependencies. Ensure that members of legacy GBS integration team are sufficiently engaged and that the collective team, including the merger partner, is progressing toward timely completion of all integration milestones. Exercise judgment in escalating integration concerns to appropriate stakeholders, facilitate conversations as needed, and see the issue(s) through to resolution. Facilitate IT support for merger partners. Escalate sensitive / recurring issues to regional IT. Provide high-level support to Branch and Regional Operations Leaders and Area Presidents during the integration process. Manage workflow to ensure priority items are resourced and successful. This role will serve as a key point of contact for merger partners' local and regional leadership. There will be multiple points of interaction: broader GBS and cross-Divisional Integration Management Office (IMO) teams, as well as local and regional GBS Operations and Shared Services teams. Integration Team members must be proactive and resourceful in connecting new merger partner colleagues with GBS specialists and general GBS policies, procedures, and other general information.
Required: University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent. Desired: Insurance industry experience desirable. Work Traits: Ability to interface successfully with all levels of professionals. Works effectively and cooperatively with others; establishing and maintaining good working relationships. Keeps up with current developments and trends in areas of expertise. Good problem-solving skills.
